BryLin Hospital
BryLin Hospital is the only private treatment facility in WNY that provides a variety of inpatient psychiatric and outpatient addiction medicine services. Inpatient psychiatry is provided for children, as young as six years of age, adolescents, adults and older adults. Outpatient addiction medicine treatment is available for adolescents and adults. The Child and Adolescent unit is where age specific treatment is provided in a safe, supportive, and structured environment for children who are experiencing acute emotional and behavioral disorders. The Adult program is for individuals 18 years of age and older. A therapeutic array of treatment services are provided to enhance the quality of life for patients who are experiencing acute psychiatric distress such as major depression, anxiety disorders, and post traumatic stress. A specialized Geropsychiatric program is designed for older adults, who may need a little more assistance with their activities of daily living. These older adults may be experiencing emotional or cognitive psychiatric disorders related to the aging process or other health related conditions such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. Specialized psychiatric programming includes: MICA/Dual Diagnosis programming designed to treat adults, eighteen years of age and older, diagnosed with a Mental Illness and Chemical Addiction (MICA); Men's Programming; Women's Programming; Inpatient & Ambulatory Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT); Holistic Services (Yoga, Massage, & soon Tai Chi); and Pastoral Care. BryLin Hospitals provides a variety of inpatient psychiatric and outpatient addiction medicine services. BryLin Hospital - Williamsville Outpatient Clinic
BryLin Hospital is the only private treatment facility in WNY that provides a variety of inpatient psychiatric and outpatient addiction medicine services. At our Williamsville Outpatient Addictions Clinic, programming is designed to help our clients achieve a healthy, productive, and fulfilling lifestyle without the use of alcohol or drugs. As clients leave treatment and continue their journey of recovery, we encourage the use of self help groups and community supports to provide ongoing support. Adult Addictions Programming, for individuals 18 years of age and older, follows a medical model of treatment which is based on the disease concept of addiction. An Adolescent Recovery Treatment Track has been specifically developed for the adolescent who presents with a Dependency Diagnosis. Sometimes kids make bad choices so an Adolescent Substance Abuse Track has been designed to educate the teen about the risks of substance use and abuse. This treatment track is designed to give adolescents the information and power they need to make healthy choices for themselves in the future. Specialty Groups include: Adolescent, Young Adult (18-25yoa), Women, Men’s groups; Suboxone Groups; Chronic Pain & Addiction Groups; Nutrition & Recovery Groups; and Professionals. Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Justice Outreach Program
Purpose is to avoid unnecessary criminalization of mental illness and extended incarceration among Veterans by ensuring that eligible Veterans in contact with the criminal justice system have access to Veterans Health Administration mental health and substance abuse services. Outreach to local jails, law enforcement and courts. Identifies Veterans involved in the criminal justice system. Supports available to these Veterans include: determining Veterans Health Administration eligibility; linkage, monitoring and reporting for behavioral health programs; guidance in addressing outstanding warrants; linkage to family and child support services advocacy; assist with applying for service connected benefits; linkage to services available in the community outside of the VA system.
